my F17 machines had all "SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16" as kernel-param
so i guess "FONT=latarcyrheb-sun16" because "True" is pretty dumb
to specify a font :-)
All of my F18 systems which were updated from F17 via fedup have...
[egreshko@f17x etc]$ cat vconsole.conf
FONT=latarcyrheb-sun16
KEYMAP=us
So, maybe you've uncovered a bug in whatever upgrade process you used?

Interesting, because I didn't update to fc17, nor use the alpha in my final test
machine, I installed from the install DVD when released. And I still see "True"
after logout from a user. Not sure I notice it elsewhere.
(runs to logout of the fc18 test machine)
Do not see it on my fc18 test machine, also installed from production DVD, and
fully up-to-date as of 3am.
Other than now I know where I saw that, I don't know that the cause of the issue
is advanced by this test.
These tests may actually shed some light:
