It's just that I'm concerned, the BIOS is showing as being from 2008,
and I wanted to keep it up to date along with everything else I've
updated. there's no real concern, just thought it'd be a good idea to
get it as close to the "present" as possible.....is this not a good
idea? and what does "brick my computer" mean?

Ok....well I guess I would have to agree with you,....since everything
IS working fine and proper, then I really shouldn't get under the hood
and muck around with things that are running smoothly! Thanks for the
