Just to be absolutely clear: are you saying that you can't get the
printer to work under F17 on this box, or you can't get F17 to run on
it? And, if disabling SELinux didn't help, it's not what's causing it.
When you install the CLX3170 series driver, after you install the driver
there is no way to get the driver to work until you satisfy the 6-8
selinux rules
