Use "yum" or "repoquery" to search the repositories for the missing
things. Example:

  # repoquery --whatprovides 'libssl.so.0.9.8()(64bit)'

There is an equivalent command for yum, albeit using different options.
If nothing is returned, the package may be obsolete/retired, and you may
need to erase it. There are tools to help with finding leaf packages and
extras (e.g. the package-cleanup command).
