It is a desktop - AMD FX9tm0-6200 Six-Core Processor 3.80 GHz 8 GB ram I burned an iso to a single disk, and if I understand correctly that is a live CD, but I did a OS install to the entire disk after I partitioned it with GParted. Have 64 bit Win7 on it now. On Ubunto I didn't get anywhere most of the time, but once I did get the install screen to show up, but after that it just had a blinking cursor. On Fedora I didn't have any errors until it did the ~380 updates. Then it wouldn't boot, but instead gave error: "GPU lockup - switching to software fbcon" and then wouldn't go past a line that mentions verion 4.0 of something, or something like that. Mike |
