I Will overlook any perceived shortcomings from now on....
I wouldn't go that far, just have a look into why it doesn't do
something you thought it ought to.
Perhaps it's a legal reason.
Perhaps it conflicts with a goal of the distro.
Perhaps it's simply that nobody's implemented what you wanted.
Perhaps what you want isn't ready for inclusion, yet.
You'll get short shrift, on this list, if you were to rant about how the
distro doesn't support MP3 playback, for instance. But if you'd simply
said that you couldn't find anything to play MP3s, you would have been
told Fedora can't/won't support it, but there's at least one external
repo that you can use that does. And some clues to start you off
installing what you needed from it.
It's the approach that matters.
WOW!.....You sound SO much like my college professor!.....LoL! But
message received, I will from now on take the "Logical" approach before
letting my emotions run rampant!...LoL! It's just frustrating though, to
see a distro that you fell in love with from a while ago (F13) not be
all it can be. ...but when you mention the legal aspect of it, I realize
that although people love to create and run free software....NO ONE
wants to go to court...or worse JAIL for it!...LoL!
