When I start yumex it runs up to the point of validating the user but never puts up the box asking for my password; and then hangs. Looks like a library problem. Here are the messages produced when yumex is invoked from a console. $ yumex ** (process:18132): WARNING **: Trying to register gtype 'GMountMountFlags' as enum when in fact it is of type 'GFlags' ** (process:18132): WARNING **: Trying to register gtype 'GDriveStartFlags' as enum when in fact it is of type 'GFlags' ** (process:18132): WARNING **: Trying to register gtype 'GSocketMsgFlags' as enum when in fact it is of type 'GFlags' (yumex:18132): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_scrolled_window_add(): cannot add non scrollable widget use gtk_scrolled_window_add_with_viewport() instead 19:05:09 : DEBUG - network interface p6p1 (r8169) is connected 19:05:09 : INFO - Connected to an network 19:05:09 : DEBUG - network interface p6p1 (r8169) is connected 19:05:09 : INFO - Starting yum child process 19:05:09 : INFO - YUM: ==== AUTHENTICATING FOR org.yum-extender.backend.pkexec.run === 19:05:10 : INFO - YUM: Authentication is required for Yum Extender to handle packages on the system 19:05:10 : INFO - YUM: Authenticating as: Jonathan Ryshpan (jonrysh) <yumex hangs...> Any ideas for a cure?
