believe that anything that /they/ think is a good idea, is a good idea.
Their track record for security is abysmal, likewise with usability.
You'll get no argument from me on that.
But do not dismiss their enormous marketing
clout and connections, not to mention their cash.
Given the state of the economy today, politicians
are ready to go for any proposals that improve
business revenues,
especially those of multi-billion dollar corps.
