I use ddclient to update my dynamic IP address on the free DynDNS service, but it seems to have stopped working. I only noticed when my host name stopped being resolved correctly, so it could have happened a while back but the IP assignment hadn't changed so it passed under the radar.
I've been having similar trouble with the ipUpdate service from DNSexit.com. I've asked them for help, but they won't even answer your email unless you're a paying customer. I've found that the central script, /usr/sbin/ipUpdate.py, works fine, so I just added it to /etc/rc.d/rc.local to make sure it gets executed at boot. Not the best solution, but better than nothing.
