I found the default plug-in to be lacking. Particularly, it displays some youtube videos, but not others. A FF dialog pops up telling me it needs to find Sorensen codec, I press OK, and then tells me it hasn't found any. I think this wouldn't happen if the default plug-in for vids were mplayer... In fact, I uninstalled the default plugins, and installed gecko-mediaplayer* works like a charm for all vids.
