you can use a usb and then boot from that. to do so, install unetbootin, and then mount the usb. then go to unetbootin, ask to copy Diskimage, and then make sure that the usb directory is recognized. Sit back and watch it go through....
That means I point unetbootin at the DVD iso and at the USB device? unetbootin will destroy whatever was on the USB device and make a USB version of an install DVD? The website also mentions a "frugal" hard drive-only method, but I'm a confused by it.
Btw, what ks file did you use to make the minimal CD?
The CD just has the iso file as downloaded. I'd though that the ks file could be provided during boot along with the DVD-sized iso file. -- Michael hennebry@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx "On Monday, I'm gonna have to tell my kindergarten class, whom I teach not to run with scissors, that my fiance ran me through with a broadsword." -- Lily -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
