Tracker crashes

What is "Tracker" and why is it crashing all the time?  Almost every time I start my system, I get an Abrt warning with this message:
>     Process /usr/libexec/tracker-extract was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
The system is a 4 processor running KDE-4.7.4 under Fedora-16 with all upgrades installed.
