From a shell point-of-view, this makes sense, but I am still not certain what it > buys me over just "yum install python3" escape shell wildcards if you do not mean or sooner or later it will hurt you by interpreting something you did not want people are working all the day with the shell learning such things by get hurted and will suggest correct commands, at leat it is your choice to gamble :-)
