As I had F8 before, when I installed F12 I choosed the option of upgrading. I'll try a new full installation of F12, and I'll see if the problem is fixed. It is never a good idea to "upgrade" more than one level. F8 to F9, that's probably OK. F8 to F12 (a skip of four) is most likely going to have problems.
