All disks always fail the built-in test here, due to the permanent
kernel bug. A more robust test is:
# cmp /dev/dvd /path/to/iso
If the disk is good and the built-in test would have worked, there will
be no output; otherwise if the disk is good, there will be a complaint
about EOF on the iso; if the disk is bad, there will be a complaint
about a mismatch.
