yes, both. Last reboot on the old serevr beside me was 148 days ago and three 
kernel updates that I recall.

[root@cserver ~]# uname -a
Linux cserver.davedomain 2.6.18-128.1.6.el5 #1 SMP Wed Apr 1 09:19:18 EDT 2009 
i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
