I know there was a gstreamer update today: Jul 30 14:57:45 Updated: gstreamer-tools-0.10.23.2-1.fc11.x86_64 Jul 30 14:57:46 Updated: gstreamer-0.10.23.2-1.fc11.x86_64 Jul 30 14:57:48 Updated: gstreamer-devel-0.10.23.2-1.fc11.x86_64 If this fixes the problem, it would be nice. I'd then have no problem with Totem and gstreamer. The problem, you see, is that there's a Microsoft shill working for the most important network of papers in Quebec and they have a site called cyberpresse.ca . Said shill uses Ubuntu, often makes all he can to run into trouble and then explains how complicated Linux really is despite using the "claimed" easiest distro. For instance, when he installed the last version of Firefox, instead of waiting for the package to arrive, he downloaded the tgz from Mozilla, said he followed every instruction he could find on the net -- which as often happens were maybe... incomplete -- and finally concluded that installation went well with Mac and Windows, but was a disaster with Linux. So now, imagine when he gets to Radio-Canada and there's a real problem with Totem: it takes a whole week before he gets it working, and it's a pain, and now it doesn't work anymore, and so on. Go figure why people believe Linux is so complicated. -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines
