If that is the case, then associate the relevant IP address with
fedoraproject.org in your /etc/hosts file and it should work.

connect to mirrors.fedoraproject.org. Any ideas? Thanks!
Point /etc/resolve.conf at a functional DNS server. The one you are
using is broken or is deliberately not giving you the information.
