I have an Intel 82865G connected to a display via VGA and every time i play video (VLC, mythfrontend playback) the video is overly (unusably) bright. The rest of the desktop (bootop, GDM, fluxbox, mythtfrontend) are all ok. This is with the 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5 kernel package. I would like to get video to play at or about the same brightness/contrast as the rest of the computer.
