I'm not bored, and I don't enjoy picking fights on mailing lists.

However, I do believe in expressing my views on Fedora development,
and where the development is fundamentally misconceived,
as I believe the adoption of NM as some sort of standard is,
I will continue to express my view.

That isn't actually all you asked.
You also implied that you were in charge of this area,
and that if people did not follow your advice they would not get assistance.

As far as I can see, the standard WiFi program on Fedora
is still system-config-network, and its various GUI interfaces,
while NM is a wizard which is recommended but is not running by default.

In my experience system-config-network is not very good,
and neither is NM.
System-config-network works about 65% of the time, for me,
while NM works about 80% of the time.

In my opinion, a wizard should work at least 95% of the time
before it is accepted as a standard part of a distribution.
