If it works (which it will for most people in most situations) then it is the easiest possible way to get wireless working. If you really _want_ to do things the hard way, then feel free to figure things out -- I'm certainly not stopping you. But it seems to me that you just want to whine about because I tried to give people an easy first step instead of pointing them at a stack of HOWTOs and telling wishing them luck. Now, do you have a specific problem or question about wireless with which you want help? Or do you just want to complain that I dared to try to put people on the easy path to working wireless?
