I'd hazard a guess that it'd be from some site that'd stuffed an executable into what purported to be an image, in the hope the MSIE would do whatever it normally does (ignore the MIME type, assess the type of file itself, have Explorer do whatever Explorer normally does with that file type, and in this case it would be executing it). You'd see spam email try this trick, though they'd usually stuff the nasty file into something that pretended it was a MIDI file to be played in the background while viewing the mail. Make an OS that panders to idiots, and what do you get... -- (This computer runs FC7, my others run FC4, FC5 & FC6, in case that's important to the thread.)
