Want it to auto check every 10 mounts (hda, hdb), as am getting some

has got to do with power tripping\outtages.

You would use "tune2fs -i 10m <device>" as in
"tune2fs -i 10m /dev/sda3". But one thing to keep in mind is that the check will only happen when the system reboots, so if you reboot on the 9th month, and the 11th month, it will run the check on the 11th month. Setting the check frequency this way does not override the other settings, such as the number of mounts, or if hte check flag gets set in other ways.

Errors can normally be fixed by e2fsck. But you do not want to try to fix a mounted file system.

At the fear of being difficult the OP wanted to check every 10 mounts
and that is:
tune2fs -c 10 /dev/sdx

not: tune2fs -i 10 /dev/sdx

-c max-mount-counts
Adjust the number of mounts after which the filesystem will be
checked by e2fsck(8). If max-mount-counts is 0 or -1, the number
of times the filesystem is mounted will be disregarded by
    e2fsck(8) and the kernel.

-i interval-between-checks[d|m|w]
Adjust the maximal time between two filesystem checks. No
postfix or d result in days, m in months, and w in weeks.A
value of zero will disable the time-dependent checking.
