It'll work on a new setup, but after a small amount of desktop customisation (e.g. add a desktop background, choose a keyboard hotkey to be the compose key, a couple of tweaks like that), that feature refuses to work. Likewise for other hotkeys. It's been that way on every release of Fedora that I've tried. -- (This computer runs FC7, my others run FC4, FC5 & FC6, in case that's important to the thread.)
