I tried both helix and xine engines and every time I try to drop in a MP3file, Amarok reports that MP3 files are not supported. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get MP3 support working? Thanks! If you look at the Unofficial Fedora FAQ it will tell you how to enable the repositories that you need that will enable you to install the software required to get mp3's working in Fedora and Amarok. The Unofficial Fedora FAQ: http://www.fedorafaq.org/ -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-listWell, I was able to install xine-mp3, and I this works in xine. But Amaroksays it does not support it. It won't even play it even if it is in my playlist.Following the Unoffical Fedora FAQ I tried: + yum install kdemultimedia-extras-nonfree << does not exist + yum install audacious-plugins-nonfree-mp3 << does not exist + yum install gstreamer-plugins-ugly << does not existI could be wrong but the official fedora repositories do not contain nonfree software. I think you need to add the livna repository for what you want. -Max ____________________________________________________________________________________Looking for last minute shopping deals?
