I'm having issues with a game I recently purchased (Ankh) and the Nvidia Driver (Unacceptable Framerates). It seems like the issue stems from the manner in which the driver is installed (Livna Repository versus Nvidia's own Binary). I was curious if any one had any possible workarounds other then the ones suggested off there support page (I have SELINUX disabled already and I know 3d acceleration is functioning properly since I have several other Linux games installed and running flawlessly). I have started a thread in the fedora forums in addition to this posting. Thanks in advance to any possible working solutions RuneSoft Tech Support Page http://www.rune-soft.com/article_d.php?action=view&article_id=35 Fedora Forum Entry http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=173559
I use the dkms package from freshrpms. With this package, the module is update automaticllay with a new kernel.
I was having all kinds of issues and ended up getting a new card. The prices dropped enough.
