Right now you have to know very little. The possibilities are these: 1. You left click on the nm-applet icon. Choose the SSID of the Access Point you want to use. If it uses WPA then a GUI will open asking you for the appropriate information (name , passwd, etc). Then you will be asked for the passwd for the gnome-keyring. If you don't have one you can create one. 2. The SSID does not appear so you have to choose "Connect to other Wireless Network" then a GUI will appear where you choose the SSID and Wireless Security. Then you proceed as before when the GUI appears for authorization information. Now if you have to configure your router to use WPA first that is a whole different matter which does not involve NM. -- ======================================================================= Zeus gave Leda the bird. ======================================================================= Aaron Konstam telephone: (210) 656-0355 e-mail: akonstam@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
