My /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 looks like this:

        DEVICE=eth0
        BOOTPROTO=dhcp
        HWADDR=00:14:85:8C:9D:5D
        ONBOOT=yes
        PEERDNS=no

With that, dhcp still overwrites my /etc/resolv.conf
