Actually, what it means is what it says; It allows multiple users to share a single IP. But what it didn't say, is that you have to build your own network behind it to allow the sharing. Lots or most modems say the same thing, but again you have to build your own network. Heck, even look at the back of the modem, it only has ONE ethernet cable. You can't share with just one.
