Marvell 6101 PATA does not work with kernel-2.6.20-1.2925.fc6

In earlier posts it was said that the 2.6.20 version of the kernel would support
the Marvell 6101 PATA chip (present on some Intel boards in the DG965 series)

However, this doesn't seem to be the case - I see nothing in the boot log and
doing an 'lspci' gives:

/sbin/lspci -v -s 03:00.0
03:00.0 IDE interface: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. Unknown device 6101 (rev b1) (prog-if 8f [Master SecP SecO PriP PriO])
Subsystem: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. Unknown device 6101
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 10
        I/O ports at 1018 [size=8]
        I/O ports at 1024 [size=4]
        I/O ports at 1010 [size=8]
        I/O ports at 1020 [size=4]
        I/O ports at 1000 [size=16]
        Memory at 52100000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512]
        Capabilities: <access denied>

or is there some trick to get it working?
