You mean they aren't writing them for Linux... But they do write them for an OS that provides a stable interface definition and allows distribution of the driver along with the OS. Coincidence?


"stable interface definition" and distribution terms have nothing to do with it, it's just about money. If Linux was installed on 96% of the world's computers, Logitech would provide the drivers even if the interface changed daily!

Egg? Chicken? It most certainly does have something to do with it. There are good reasons people have to use something else on those 96% of the world's computers. Well probably not quite that many, but a large number need better driver support than Linux can ever have.
