I suspect that something is wrong in my home dir and this is related to
the change from FC4 to FC6: gnome, or whatever, does not accept backward
compatibility (see my other mails) and there is something, somewhere,
added by this new version which generate this problem.

As a simple example of this kind of inconsistancy: I had (under FC1/3/4
and before rehat5/6/9) a xscreensaver config file, the same for all
these versions, now I had to use the gnome-xscreensaver manager to write
again what was written in my .xscreensaver

 lock:           False

The FC6 install ignore this and everybody here is complaining against me....

Hope too! latex is my main tool for working!
