I don't know where though. Others may want to toss a clue-bat in my direction if I'm wrong about all this, though. Also, there's another problem with your idea. I imagine you would be removing the shutdown/restart commands in the display manager for *everybody*. At the point when you are in the display manager, the system doesn't know whether you're are root or a normal user. You would however, still have the ability to shutdown/reboot if you are logged in as root. Soor about all this, -David Chipman
