Speaking of firmware upgrades for DVD drives, there is a more supposedly 
more stable firmware available for my drive, and of course the upgrade 
installer is for "windoze" only.  Is it possible with the firmware 
binary file to upgrade the drive from within linux, or am I stuck 
pulling the drive out of the system and moving it elsewhere for the upgrade?
