I have to agree with Dave here, install Cygwin, add c:\cygwin\bin to
your Windows path and suddenly the Windows terminal becomes the most
powerful tool on the box. Just being able to type 'ls' at the dos prompt
and not get a 'bad command or filename' is worth it.
