I got the fglrx from livna, started with the Xorg radeon driver but
replaced it because some things didn't seem right (on suggestion from
mailing lists).  Still doesn't seem right.  Maybe I should go back to
radeon?

In either case, the suggestions on how and what to install are NOT clear
and concise.  All the instructions for intsalling seem to leave a lot to
personal interpretation, i.e. screwups.  That was why I was double
checking.
