I don't know about a short response to any video questions :-). If you got the drivers via livna rpms (or built fedora rpms from the ati source), the odds are good that the install didn't do everything it should have to really get them installed correctly. See http://bugzilla.livna.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1269 for all the things I had to do manually that the provided script somehow failed to do automatically.
