Thank you for that.  I installed k3b and it put itself back where it
belongs on the Applications->Sound & Video menu.

Can you be a little bit more explicit ?  I did the install and it downloaded
and installed without any trouble, but it doesn't appear in the right-click
menu.

As well as pulling the terminal they also pulled the "Run Application", so
that you can't actualyl run *anything* that isn't on the menus :-(

Can you provide more details here ?  I'm really a command-line guy and
I'm not sure where I would run metacity of compiz ...
