Which video card do you have ? Which video driver do you use ?
It's an Intel Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller,
using the i810 driver.
Can you still ssh into the machine while it is in this state ?
I noticed resume on mine got my desktop back, and because the mains
wasn't plugged in as it resumed, system now running on AC popup faded
in-out but mouse and keyboard are not operational. So different effects
seen here.
