Well it may not be doing updates but every once in a while I get a message that there are updates available
and it pretends to do updates.
It *wont* do updates on its own. You have to manually allow that. This
is not automatic updates.
In addition it reports unfound
dependencies.
You report earlier clearly showed Fedora Core 5 packages.
It also I am convinced removed the gnome-session file so
GNOME was no longer available.
There is no details on what happened with gnome-session. So its rather
difficult to assume that there is any bug at all.
