From windows I'm using an odd program called USBPhoneForSkype which
uses Skype to dial out from a generic USB phone. It's branded, apparently, "USB phone" on the packaging even! Reminds me of those beer cans labeled "beer". I'm probably going to buy the phone at <http://pclee.idv.tw/peter/product_info.php?cPath=1_41&products_id=103&osCsid=f45628e3d6c648dd5364418e8abaf960> purely because it does the exact same thing from linux. Ironically, the phone I'm going to buy can also work with x-lite for SIP calls, but there's no linux driver to make x-lite work with the phone. Of course, x-lite runs on linux.
