I don't think I have the right hardware for the software, here was my attempt (yes, running as root, slap my wrist): [root@arrakis install-SkypeMate.zip_FILES]# [root@arrakis install-SkypeMate.zip_FILES]# pwd /home/thufir/Desktop/install-SkypeMate.zip_FILES [root@arrakis install-SkypeMate.zip_FILES]# ll total 2234 -rwxrwxrwx 1 thufir thufir 2278147 Aug 4 2005 install-SkypeMate -rw-rw-rw- 1 thufir thufir 192 Aug 20 2005 update log.txt [root@arrakis install-SkypeMate.zip_FILES]# [root@arrakis install-SkypeMate.zip_FILES]# ./install-SkypeMate SkypeMate Version == v 1.1.0.1 i(I) == Install SkypeMate program. q(Q) == Exit install SkypeMate program. In any event, there doesn't seem to be any linux drivers for it. The phone, however, does work as advertised for windows :) I might buy the phone at <http://support.a-link.com/phonemate/IPU1.htm>, which works with skypemate. I'm leaning more towards skype, if only because there's free calling till 1 Jan 2007, which changes the economics slightly. -Thufir -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
