Time Out on Boot of 2.6.18-1.2200.fc5smp

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I just installed the latest kernel (2.6.18-1.2200.fc5smp) and now see
a 40 second time out on amy disk controller at boot time. This didn't
occur before the update (2.6.17-1.2187_FC5smp).

Once the time out is over, the boot proceeds normally. Everything
else seems fine.

Should I report a bug? Can I suppress the time out (whatever it is)?
