Since libjpeg.la has been removed from libjpeg-devel according to the following bug report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=145971 Packages which need libjpeg.la cannot be built. For example JMagick (http://www.yeo.id.au/jmagick/) does not build from source. The error I get is libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/libjpeg.la' Is there some workaround using a configure option or something to get it built? Best regards!
