Hello;
 have you run the sha1sum against the burnt cd's?
Do not mount the disc, just "sha1sum /dev/hdc"
Where "hdc" is my cdrom drive.

The "media check" has given false failures in the past.
If the files pass the sha1sum and the cd's pass, then go ahead and
install from them.
