Hi,
Since I have upgraded from FC4 to FC5, I have a lot of problem.
System hang then freeze, so I have to reboot every 10 or 15 minutes!
Generally, when happens, Xorg load the system up to 99.5%.
Sometimes, that is kded
Can somebody tell me what happen ?
I'm getting exactly the same symptoms, perhaps not quite as regularly
though.
Are you using NVIDIA drivers?
No, my graphic board is ATI Radeon X300 and I'm using drivers from xorg.
Also my IBM server freeze when I start X (now work in init 3).
this is my VGA adapter:
06:04.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon RV100 QY
[Radeon 7000/VE]
I have set in xorg.conf the vesa generic driver and now, if I run
startx, the system work property.
Is this a know bugs?
For a redhat on dell PE would you call it the same ?
