Also my IBM server freeze when I start X (now work in init 3). this is my VGA adapter: 06:04.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon RV100 QY [Radeon 7000/VE] I have set in xorg.conf the vesa generic driver and now, if I run startx, the system work property.
