I think the glibc folks are right, providing they don't suddenely turn this
on for a RHEL5 update.

The alternative is telepathically deducing the authors intent. Thats even
harder. Better it fails in rawhide and FC devel and people fix stuff. For
RHEL people will get zapped in RHEL6 betas and soon fix any
