I don't have to understand everything ;) If Core packages will be moved to Extras CVS, I would expect this not to be any different from adding an arbitrary package to Extras rsp. not to be any different from as Extra->Core package movers had been handled so far ?!? Nor would I expect this to be of any importance to the buildsystem, because it's yum-based, which would mean it should not matter from where/which repo a package is being pulled from - It will simply pickup the newest. But this wasn't the actual question I wanted to ask - My question actually was: Where (in which CVS/VCS) can which packages be found at which stage of the review/merger?
