It's already an excellent article ! Where you talk about the status bar, you mention about "[0]" being the session number and "0:" being the window number. You might want to be more specific saying that these are the session name and window name - both of which default to the session/window number. Worth mentioning "tmux ls" to see running sessions and "-t <target>" option to attach-session. In the list of things to read, you might want to mention tmuxinator.
